Clayton’s Wild Adventure

Clayton is a 9 year old with Juvenile Dermatomyositis whose dream was to go to Disney World, Jurassic Park, and Give Kids the World Village. Clayton was surprised  at T-Rex Cafe that his adventure was about to begin. He also was given a beautiful bouquet of cookies from Cookies by Design to sweeten the deal.

Clayton had an amazing time at Disney World and at Give Kids the World Village. Every day was a new adventure! One day Clayton was on an air-boat gliding above live alligators with bald eagles soaring above, next he was on a wild safari making friends with a giraffe.  Another day Clayton was able to feed and pet a real dolphin!

Clayton’s Mom said Give Kids the World Village was the most heart touching thing about the whole trip. The volunteers at the village seemed to truly care about every child and there was so much for Clayton to do. There was a different theme party every night from a Christmas Party, Halloween Party, Pirates and Princess Party, and the list goes on. His favorite thing was riding the roller coasters, and the bigger the better!!!

This was truly a trip that Clayton and his family will remember for the rest of their lives. Clayton’s Mom said that he has not stopped talking about the trip since he got home.
