Concert Event to Benefit The Dream Factory

An upcoming concert event will raise money for three organizations dedicated to improving the lives of special children. BCD Travel and The Hilton at the Kansas City airport have teamed up to sponsor the Northland’s “TGIF” Office Party. This fund raising event will benefit The Dream Factory, Give Kids The World, and Triality for Tots.
Popular local band Exit 47 will provide the evening’s entertainment. Their playlist includes a variety of pop, classic rock and country. Raffle drawings will also take place throughout the event, and some of the prizes include:
--One-night package at Great Wolf Lodge valued @ $316.80
--Four oil/car wash certificates at Randy Reed Pontiac valued at $120.00
--$100 certificate for Southwest Airlines
This event takes place Friday, June 16, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm, at the Hilton Kansas City Airport (I-29 and 112th Street). A $15 cover charge includes live band, award winning “Munchin’ Hogs” BBQ sandwich & 2 sides. A cash bar will be available.
Part of the proceeds raised will go towards making a dream come true for a girl named Ashley, who lives in Merriam, KS and has autism. BCD Travel has “adopted” this dream from The Dream Factory and is raising money to give Ashley a brand new swimming pool.
