Painter of Light Lends Support to Dream Factory

The famed ‘Painter of Light’ paid a visit to Kansas City and lent a creative and generous hand of support to the Dream Factory through the beauty of his artistry. On January 23, Thomas Kinkade, America’s most collected living artist, appeared at a special Nebraska Furniture Mart event in Kansas City, Kansas.
Hundreds of attendees looked on as Kinkade unveiled his newest painting “Nature’s Paradise” and created a pencil drawing live, which was then auctioned to the highest bidder. The drawing sold for an outstanding $17,500, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Dream Factory of Greater Kansas City.
