We love hearing from our Dream children and their families after they’ve lived their dream! Here’s a wonderful note from one of our families who had a once-in-a-lifetime island adventure.


Dear Deb, Colby (and all of the Dream Factory volunteers!),

Hola! Just a short note to let you know that our family has returned from Puerto Rico. Luke and I will be sitting down to write a letter with pictures very soon.

We cannot begin to express the depth of our gratitude for this once in a lifetime opportunity. The generosity and kindness of so many people provided Luke and our family a week we will never forget. So many wonderful experiences that we could not have enjoyed otherwise. Luke has come home with a new zest for his Spanish classes and stories to share about his week on a (mostly) Spanish-speaking island.

Pictures will be developed this week and sent to share with all that worked so hard to make Luke's dream a reality. Our family has been so humbled by this experience we are trying to figure out how we can give back. Right now, a little time is all we have to donate, but are anxious to learn more about how we can help other families with the gift of time.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Luke is doing well post-surgery and enjoyed his trip so thoroughly!!
